You can never have too many stitch markers, especially if you're like me and tend to get distracted easily. Stitch markers are also a really good tool to help identify your starting and ending stitch while you're learning how to finish and start a ne...

They sell fancy (and expensive) bags specifically for crochet supplies, but I use this simple bag because it has elastic loops and an internal zipper pouch for my needles, stitch markers, and hooks, as well as room for other supplies, like scissors.

For practicing, I recommend an assorted pack, HOWEVER, I recommend you use a brand like Loops and Threads once you know what project you want to try, because Red Heart definitely isn't soft enough for big projects.

While you don't NEED a bowl, I finally caved and bought one once I started doing color work (where you have more then one color attached to the project at one time) because I was frustrated having to keep my yarn separated all the time

I love my tension rings, with these ones you definitely get what you pay for, but the biggest perk is that you can decide if tension rings work for you and if not, you didn't waste your money.

The Kits

Let's be honest, patterns can be a lot for beginners, why not try a kit and dive right into crochet

The Woobles are my favorite! They are so easy, and because they're small, they're fast. I turned my army of Woobles into chonky christmas tree ornaments by  threading a ribbon into the head, and it looks adorable!

Clover hooks are the fancy hooks you buy one at a time (unless you want to buy a pack) but they're worth the price tag. I personally reach for a 0.5mm in most of my projects, but I recommend that, if you want to get a feel for Clover before you commi...
