Yup - I store them together in DMC code order. Why? Well, why not? They both fit really well in this inexpensive and flexible storage system. Since I am a lover of both crafts, it just didn't make sense to double the space needed to organize them both individually. This system is easy to expand as I acquire new supplies. Since I like to keep newly bought supplies in their original packaging until I am ready to use them, I choose a system that allows me to store full skeins of floss as they come. I love the inexpensive matchy-matchy of the bins, so I even plan to store my ribbon in a box and my washi tapes in a box eventually as well. This post contains affiliate links. So, about 6-7 years ago I got very “crunchy” and started label reading and really being mindful of every bite I was putting into my body. Before that I ate what I wanted, when I wanted, I loved me some of the worst junk food out there. Now, years later, after having the child I was crunchy to get pregnant with, I have let a lot of things slide. I still label read. I am still mindful of food coloring and artificial ingredients, but I don't omit them all. I have a few things that I have decided are my guilty pleasures and I don't need to give it all up. I just do as best as I can while still enjoying what I eat. So while you may use this list to guide you to more natural and less processed foods, it is not perfect, just as I am not. We are also Jewish, and I consider our diet Kosher Style. We don't mix meat and milk (again, I am not perfect, I *usually* don't mix them) and we look for hechsher on our our food packaging, but when we can't find them, we label read and will go by ingredients.This post contains affiliate links.
