Is it really a trip to Washington if you don't go to Pike Place Market? Pro tip; avoid driving and take public transport. Go into the nooks and crannies and I'm sure you'll find either a hidden gem or just an overall great gem.

I cannot speak to everything Leavenworth has to offer so I'm just going to link their website for you to decide. German town in the middle of Washington? Why not! and of course when you visit dictates what fun events they have going on.
