Best cookbooks
Absolutely one of my most used, most delicious cookbooks. These recipes are fresh, new ideas on classic ingredients, and so accessible and easy to make. Huge fans in our house.
Dinner: Changing the Game: A Cookbook by Melissa Clark, Hardcover
Melissa Clark is one of my absolute favorite recipe developers/cookbook authors. Creative, favorable, and DOABLE—no pretension or difficulty with her delicious food.

This cookbook is so good for busy families! All on one pan and go! Some of our weekly staples are in here.
Sheet Pan Suppers: 120 Recipes for Simple, Surprising, Hands-Off Meals ...
Samin is amazing! Watch her show on Netflix if you love learning about food. This book is amazing for a reason!
Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat: Mastering Cooking
This one gets so much use. Focused on easy-ish weeknight dinners. Another great general cookbook with so many different kinds of dinner options. Simmering for everyone in here.
Milk Street: Tuesday Nights - 200+ Simple Suppers

By far my favorite garlic press for minced garlic: 1. One solid piece of stainless steel, so easy clean—throw it in the dishwasher! 2. Easy and comfortable to use, just press down with your weight and it’s done! 3. Easy to scoop garlic out and right ...
Rocker™ Silver Garlic Crusher
Obsessed with these cutting boards. I have four different sizes. They are NOT plastic (they're made of wood pulp), they’re gentle on your knives, but can still go on the dishwasher! Best of both worlds.
Epicurean Cutting Boards
One of my favorite kitchen “indulgences” is so simple: Precut parchment sheets. Never any curling of the edges, or trying to guess how much to pull off a roll. A perfect size sheet of parchment every time. For me, the cost is truly worth the saved ti...
Pre-Cut Parchment Paper Sheets
The oldest knife in my knife block. My favorite. My most versatile. My most used. My mom gifted me this knife when I was 18, and I’ve never looked back. The Wusthof classic line is my favorite of their knives.
Wüsthof Classic Chef's Knife, 8"
Another lifesaver in my kitchen. Reusable silicone baking sheets, the perfect size and nonstick for every use. And dishwasher safe!
Silicone Baking Mat Sets & Parchment Paper
I’m a big fan of Oxo, their designs and products are so incredibly user friendly. The big, comfortable handle is amazing, and the strong “blades” of this pastry cutter helps with very cold butter!
Dough Blender with Blades
You cannot beat the Classic line of Wusthof knives. The bread knife is my sole workhorse for cutting any size of loaf of bread. I don’t need any other serrated bread knife beyond this one. Perfection.
Wüsthof Classic Bread Knife 9"
Oxo does it again with this perfect design. The handle, the internal measurements on the inside of the bowl, dishwasher safe—this is my mixing bowl workhorse that gets used almost every day in my kitchen. I bought mine in 2012 and it's still going st...
Batter Bowl with Handle
Such a simple but BRILLIANT design! Each spoon is long and thin, so they fit into any spice jar I have, compared to the larger, round spoons that are too wide to fit through the mouth of each jar. Dishwasher friendly, and I gave away my other, bigger...
Skinny, Jar-Friendly Measuring Spoons for Spice Jars
The gold standard of mandoline slicers as far as I’m concerned. I prefer this one over the Oxo mandoline. Just PLEASE be careful with your fingers when you use and clean this!
Benriner Japanese Mandoline Slicer
Save. Your. Hands. Be careful with sharp knives, graters, and especially a mandoline slicer. These gloves help tremendously, especially if someone in nervous using sharp tools in the kitchen.
Cut Resistant Gloves Food Grade Level 5
Another absolute workhorse in my kitchen. Use it for spices, hard or soft cheeses, zesting citrus, grating chocolate…it’s perfection. And dishwasher safe which is a must for me.
Microplane Graters & Zester
After having my first baby my hands were SO dry from washing hands all the time. I realized some heavy duty dishwashing gloves saved my hands a ton. They also help with any sensory issues or “ick” factor when cleaning up dishes and food.
Dish Gloves
If you can find it I love this short, chunky pairing knife. Shorter than the classic 8" chef's knife, but not as skinny a blade as a traditional pairing knife. Good for cutting smaller veggies and pieces of meat, with more heft than a typical pairing...
Wusthof Classic 4" Extra Wide Paring Knife
Hands down the 2 most used knives in my knife block. I bought mine each separately, but if I was starting from scratch I'd buy this 2-piece set to save some $. My favorite line of Wusthof knives is their Classic line here.
Wüsthof Classic 2-Piece Chef's Knife Set
This is a workhorse for me. Small, light, it does most of the heavy lifting in my kitchen. I only bring out my big, heavy food processors for holidays now.
Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus 24-Oz Food Processor
I love this thing SO much. I can prep so many veggies for multiple meals at once and I use it to make dense bean salads. Potato hash, dense bean salads, stir fry, frittatas…so many uses!
Fullstar Pro Vegetable & Food Chopper
It's beautiful AND functional?? My favorite. It holds all my spatulas and spoons and looks beautiful on my kitchen counter.
360° Rotating Extra Large Ceramic Utensil Holder
I use these all the time for measuring out liquid ingredients. From small sizes to full cups. I also like how these nest together, saving space.
OXO Good Grips 7-Piece Liquid Measuring Beaker Set
I truly use these every single day. The “spoonula” one is my favorite. One of my most used items.
