Back To School Necessities for my 5th Grade Daughter
A list of all our favorite things back to school for my 5th grade girl including school supplies, clothing, and accessories.
Backpacks
This year we are required to have clear backpacks for our district. We will be grabbing one of each color to keep on hand, because although they hold up well we don't want to get stuck without it!
An excellent option for clear backpacks, for those of us that have to have clear bags for school this year!
We LOVE Jansport bags! They always hold up so well, my day has had this strawberry one for years and it's still in excellent condition. They have so many pockets and sections to keep everything organized.
Lunch Box Essentials
If your child likes to bring lunch, these work great! We use one daily in my daughter's lunch box and it helps keep her yogurt and cheese cola, so that they still are good to eat at lunch.

We love to use Stanley water bottles for the school year. They hold up well, and keep ice in them for the entire school day. Since all of the kids are required to bring a water bottle, this has been one of our go tos!
Jansport lunch boxes hold up just as well as the backpacks! Even better, you can find a matching set with your bag, or mix and match!
If you have a child that likes to have a bunch of things to pick through for lunch (like my very picky eater) these bento boxes are perfect! They are a good size and they seal very well to avoid leaks and spills.
Clothes that pass the Dress Code
This is soft and comfortable, and we love the little button detailing. It comes in multiple colors so there is something for everyone. We also love that it is full length, and not cropped so she is allowed to wear it to school.
Love a solid color top but with a little bit of extra detailing. It's a staple item for sure, but it is just a little bit fancier than a plain tee.
A fun graphic tee is always an excellent addition to your tweens wardrobe. Use these to mix into your tweens every day outfits to showcase their personality!
This is definitely an oversized boxy kind of T-shirt. Very trendy and affordable! My daughter loves the over sized teen with some bike shorts, leggings, or cargo pants.

Nike panda dunks are a classic easy to wear and trendy sneaker. They match almost everything, and true to Nike shoes- they hold up so well. My daughter loves them so much, and says they are extremely comfortable.
These high socks by Nike are so cute and trendy. You can get classic white, or get fun colors like blue, pink, and yellow. My daughter has picked multiple pairs for school this fall!

These Cargo pants/jeans are so cute and they are so trendy right now! My daughter is absolutely obsessed with the fit, and how you can wear a fitted top or an oversized tee and they look cute either way!
My daughter loves to wear her converse high tops! They are a classic sneaker that are always in style, no matter what type of clothing your child likes to wear. Did you know that you can even design your own custom converses on their website!?
School Supplies
Ticonderoga #2 pencils are always our preferred pencil! They last so much longer and the quality is excellent. I know her teachers appreciate sending these in every year!
Trendy and stylish hand sanitizer. Very popular among tweens for their simple aesthetic. Be the favorite parent, and snag one to put in your kids backpack- also will hopefully help avoid those back to school germs!
My daughter loves the color purple, so we buy her notebooks in her fav color of course! She usually needs spiral notebooks for her binder, and then we also get marble ones as well.
We love these marble notebooks because they come in different colors, and it helps differentiate the subjects she is working on. They are super affordable and hold up well!

Crayola markers with the new super tip are going to be so helpful for your school aged kids. Not only do you get excellent quality, but the colors are beautiful!
We love elmers glue! It is a quality glue, and if you don't use use it at school - my daughter uses it to make slime at home!
