Tool Tips!
DIY is my middle name! Here are a few of my favorite items broken down by project!
Grout Repair
Everything you need to fix the grout in your tiles (check my Insta for the video)
This is your BFF - it will break it all to clean it out!
Always good to have extras when the blades wear out if you're working on large areas.
Easy to wash off the excess grout on the tiles - Must have!
Hands down the best grout I've ever used - This comes in a multitude of colors so don't fret!
My favorite grout float for the comfort grip!
Cabinet Painting
Use this to bind the seams so that when you paint, it won't crack on the inside of your cabinet doors. Can also be used on your doors as well! (Needs 24-48 hours to properly cure!)
Benjamin Moore Advanced Paint in Satin is a self leveling Paint. Great for cabinets! I would use a sprayer if you're comfortable with it (Rent it from home depot or Lowes!) or use a small paint brush and then follow it up with a foam roller to smooth...
This is great to remove a lot of the grease and oils from the cabinets before you sand them down!
After the 80 grit sanding, Use 320 grit for a really nice smooth finish.
After the degreaser, you'll use 80 grit to carefully rough up the cabinets a bit. Especially if there is an oak grain that you want to get rid of. You could go as far as filling those in with joint compound if you wanted to go that far!
Closet Makeover
I surprised my husband with this closet makeover. It was simple and quick! Here are the things I used!
So easy to put together! Instructions are easy to understand and its a sturdy unit that adds quick punch to your closet area!
This is such a beautiful dark color. Crisp and modern without being overpowering. It has this brown tint to a black/gray and its just a lovely color all around!
No need to keep the same hardware that the closet set comes with. Make it snazzy with your own flair!
This will ALWAYS be your best friend for holes in the wall and torn drywall paper issues that need to be repaired!
