The Original Pancake House
This is a great spot for brunch with friends. It’s in the Bishop Arts District which means get there early because parking is limited. But after brunch take a walk around and enjoy the shops and stop by Emporium Pies.
Oddfellows
If you’re in the Bishop Arts District then go ahead and stand in line and get a slice of pie. They are good. That’s why everyone is in line. Trust.

This is a nice spot to get a good old fashioned burger. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you order here. But I usually just get the burger and fries.
JG's Old Fashioned Hamburgers
Nice steakhouse. Great for anniversaries or an elegant date night. The food is good too. This is more of an upscale restaurant so you want to dress nice but not too formal. Just try to avoid looking too casual. No athletic wear or anything like that.
III Forks Steakhouse
This is a nice spot to go on a date. If you are with friends you can sit at the bar and meet interesting people. It is upscale so business attire or “smart casual” only. I’ve only gone during the “Admiral Hour” which I believe is their happy hour. Me...

This is good pizza. I like the Carne Classico.
i Fratelli Pizza
This is pretty good barbecue. I had the sausage and Brisket Stuffed Deviled Eggs.
Lockhart Smokehouse BBQ
Nice brunch spot in a nice area. One of those places where you might want to take pictures for Instagram if that’s your thing. It’s a nice place to go.
Sixty Vines Dallas
I went to a charity function here. It was a nice atmosphere. Very chic.
Dragonfly
Cool spot to hang out. I went here for an event and had a good time.
