Peninsula State Park
This is one of those picture-perfect Door County spots. Walking out to the lighthouse and climbing to the top for the view is something I always recommend. It’s peaceful and incredibly scenic.
Cana Island Lighthouse
This beach is completely unique with its smooth limestone rocks instead of sand. It’s quiet, beautiful, and feels a little off the beaten path. Getting to Washington Island is part of the adventure.
School House Beach
If you want a fun and easy way to explore, this is a great option. I love the themed tours, especially for first-time visitors. It’s a relaxing way to learn about the area without having to plan everything yourself.
