One of my favorite and coolest experiences to have in southern Minnesota. I’ve been to this brewery multiple times and reserved an igloo multiple times as well.
Mineral Springs Brewery
Another super fun igloo experience in Minnesota. Went here with a girlfriend a few years ago. Great wine too!
Next Chapter Winery
Went to this restaurant during Christmas with my girlfriends. It was decorated so beautifully with great photo opportunities. the food was also really good and staff was very nice!

A beautiful state park with a waterfall. I take my boys here almost every summer.

Minneopa State Park
My favorite state park. It has a gorgeous white sandy beach area where kids can play in the water. Gorgeous trails to walk on, some more extreme than others. Beautiful views
Whitewater State Park
This is another gorgeous state park to visit. So many nice views. There’s a Minnesota and Wisconsin side. I haven’t explored here enough to say much about it.
Interstate State Park | Minnesota DNR
A must see state park if you’re ever in Northern Minnesota. The most gorgeous waterfalls and walking trails.
Gooseberry Falls State Park
Fun with kids
Not really worth the hype to me, too many people and too much walking, lines are long if you go on a weekend, the park area is fun for kids, but also super busy. It’s fun for a day and that’s about it.
Mall of America®
My boys love to go here, it is a lot of fun for the kids. But I don’t think it’s worth the price. The waterpark is pretty small, but if your kids are younger they will still really enjoy it! Great for ages 2-10 probably.
Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Minnesota
So much walking! But a great way to spend the day.
Minnesota Zoo
I believe this is free, but there is an amusement park in the area that cost money. Another great zoo to visit with or without kids.
Como Zoo
My kids really enjoyed this place. A huge play area, there’s some other free space for kids to play. It does cost money.
Edinborough Park
Huge playground for kids. My boys really enjoyed this one. So much to do.
Hyland Lake Park Reserve
Fairmont is a beautiful city located in the southwest area of Minnesota. Beautiful lakes and opportunities for fun outdoor activities.
Mini-golf Course
This is a fun cave and experience to do with your kids. My boys love it everytime we go.
Mystery Cave tours | Minnesota DNR
My boys love going to air insanity. Hours of jumping!
