I travel for work probably more than anyone I know. In my time in the K.C metro area I have stumbled upon these hidden gems.
This place is surprisingly affordable for how nice it looks. Only stayed one night but staff were actually pretty cool.
AC Hotel Downtown
If you are younger and you like artsy places then this is your place. It's right smack dab in the middle of the Crossroads art district and the bar had really good drinks.
Crossroads Hotel Kansas City
I stayed here when I got married. I initially shyed away from this place because it looked a little corporate. It is honestly the peak or modern luxury in K.C they are also super accommodating.
Loews Kansas City Hotel
This place is really unique. If you don't want to stay in a typical brick and mortar then this is your place. It's an old mansion turned hotel.
The Truitt | Boutique Hotel Kansas City
This place is very boutique. Pretty close to the Crossroads art district and had an AMAZING bed!!!
Hotel Indigo Kansas City Downtown
This hotel is right next to Union station meaning there is so much to do. The resturant in building is also to die for.
Hotel Kansas City | Hyatt
I like to describe this place as old money chic. While it's not quite downtown it right next to the courtyard plaza and there is a lot of shopping and food close by.
The Raphael Hotel, Autograph Collection - Kansas City
This Hotel is full of greenery and full of life. The decor is vibrant and inviting. Honestly one of my favorite hotels.
No Vacancy Kansas City
This place is a little different. It's just outside of KC it's an old estate on a Winery
The Inn at Belvoir Winery
This place is pretty swanky. More of a business hotel for sure but a cool place to lay your head down none the less.
Origin Hotel Kansas City
With how fancy this place is, you would never guess that it's a Hilton. It's not very expensive and you get to live like royalty.
Ambassador Hotel Kansas City
The closest you can feel to sleeping in a castle in Kansas City.
The Aida KC
Just outside of KC. It's super cost effective and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
Courtyard Kansas City at Briarcliff
The Atwell suites are very modern feeling. Some of the nicest staff I've had the pleasure of speaking to.
