Lefkada ~Nikiana~🌊🫧🏝️🏖️🌄
Small town called Nikiana is located 9km from the capital city Lefkas and 4km from Lygia, when you continue driving towards Nidri, at the foothill of the mountain Skaros. Nikiana is a lovely fishing village, increasingly popular in recent years, but still suitable only for tourists who prefer peaceful holidays. It consists of one street that goes along the highway and in which are located several shops and a restaurant, and a small port with a numerous sailing boats, several restaurants and cafes. The beach is narrow and gravel (large pebbles) and it may serve well during the holiday, but certainly it’s not the reason why you should come to visit Lefkada. The sea is clean, but it’s not turquoise like on the west coast. There are bus lines from Nikiana to all parts of Lefkada, and there are excursion boats to the islands Skorpios and Meganisi. Even if you don’t like peaceful vacations and you are situated in Nikiana, you could have a good time by visiting other beautiful beaches and nearby places.
