Been touring for 20 years and tried a lot of gear. I strongly encourage buying set up optimized for touring and not trying the hybrid approach that is mediocre at both resort and touring. This is a great set up for all conditions from corn to deep pow, full day mega outings and quick laps. I do not advise this setup for resort skiing.
