With my prior experience working with developmental disablities, I have learned alot about working with Autism. This was such a rewarding job experience. 2 of the most important things I learned was you respect them first. And with time and patience, they will respect you. The 2nd most thing I learned was…….they are smarter and brighter than most average adults. TRUE STORY! Just because they may not be able to speak your language, does not mean they do not understand. Give them a chance. You will be rewarded by doing so.

As a resident living in Tennessee, I have had some amazing experiences. I live approximately 2 hours from most of the attractions below. I highly recommend Pigeon Forge for lots of shopping, Dollywood with fun for the whole family and The Great Smokey Mountains. Such a beautiful sight! I have also included recommended cabins which I enjoy the most and for the campers, a list of campgrounds. I would love to hear from you if you visit and let me know how you liked it.
