I have a love/hate relationship with budgeting. It's not particularly fun for me to budget, but I love the peace of mind it gives me when I need to spend money on something. Starting out, we used the envelope system. Every paycheck, I'd go to the bank, pull out the cash and divide it up into different envelopes for spending/saving throughout the week. When it came time to pay the bill, I'd either go to the bank and deposit the money or pay cash. It was a great system to get a handle on managing our money.
Since, we've graduated to YNAB and we're loving it.
I used these to divide my home binder into different sections. They work great and are sturdy.
