I've been trying to replace some of these store bought products with products that are beneficial and with simpler, fewer ingredients. Here's what's working for me so far.

I use baking soda for all sorts of cleaning activities. I mix it with apple cider vinegar and water and use it as a hair wash. I know they are supposed to cancel each other out, but somehow it has been working for my hair. It makes it feel super clean.

I specifically use borax in my laundry detergent. Borax has the ability to soften the water and suspend soap particles in the bathwater. The result is soft, clean, and healthy skin, which is not clogged by the residue of soap particles.
