Rugged coast with wildlife viewing (seals, birds) and short seaside hikes.
Cape Arago State Park
Local and Travelers favorite hiking experience. This place is stunning and a must see. Hidden waterfalls and forest trails — great for a nature outing.
Golden And Silver Falls State Natural Area
We've seen whales here when feet of the shoreline! Perfect for Photoshoots, picnics, exploration - all on a private beach! My favorite spot.
Simpson Reef and Shell Island - Shore Acres State Park
This is this is a gorgeous area to hike trails and spend time with your family. And even go fishing!
John Topits Park/Empire Lakes | City of Coos Bay
My favorite beach! Camping and Park just up the hill.
Bastendorff | Coos County, OR
This boardwalk in beautiful downtown has amazing views of both water and land. There's usually a lot of birds to see as well.
