South Florida
Starting at the South, let's work our way through this tropical state.
To get the most authentic Key West experience, I recommend renting one of these cute little beach cottages on any of the islands.
This is the most family friendly island of the keys. Keep in mind the keys span an extensive mileage and the speed limit is under 40 for the majority of the suspended drive, making it a libg haul w/ kids.

City setting across from the Cocnut Grove Marina. This location is central to downtown Coconut Grove where there are several parks for young ones, including a two story island style library.

The airboat tours are fun! Go during mating season (spring) for guaranteed alligator viewing.
Beautiful botanical garden - love their Christmas Light event displays that light up the Beautiful flowers and foliage. We enjoyed fairy hunting the year we attended!

Famous Florida mermaid show! Get in line early, like by 8 am early.
Cute coastal town that has spring access as well!
Best paella 🥘 everrr. This is not to be missed - Disney Springs is open to the public, no resort pass needed.
A nice way to experience some of Disney's magic without having to purchase park passes. My kids love the M&M store.
