Pork, shrimp, salmon! up to you:) Sinigang is a sour soup that has a variety of vegetables. It is a very customizable dish when cooked at home. Add the vegetables that you like hehe Tip from a pro sinigang eater;) Add taro in your sinigang. Cut the taro in small pieces and add it to the soup. Once the taro pieces are soft, mash them and mix in the soup. It will turn your soup into a creamy consistency.

Caldereta or Kaldereta is a tomato-based stew. But the liver spread or mashed liver makes it differ from other tomato-based stews. Just make sure that your beef is really tender.

Best Paired w Coffee or Tea
Steamed rice cakes with or without a slice of cheese on top is top tier. It pairs well with coffee or tea frfr!
Puto (Filipino Steamed Rice Cakes)
Oh my!! One of my fave kakanins. The color, texture, taste! Perfection (at least for me;)) It is heavier than the puto but goes really well with your cup of coffee or tea.
Sapin-Sapin
There are different types of sumans; some are made of rice, some with cassava or gabi. The one made with rice is similar but diff with the sticky rice in Thailand. Some sumans may be eaten as is or some goes well with sugar or a syrup of a kind. I personally like the rice suman that was cooked with or in coconut milk with my hot coffee:)
