My favorite books from the months of April, May and June! From fantasy to contemporary fiction (Jodi Picoult, lol) and romance, there were some great rereads, and some new books that I fell in love with!

Fantasy
This is the second time I've read the Shepherd King duology and each time I love it more and more. The prose is so lush, the world building and magic system is unique and unlike anything I've read, and the first book does such a great job introducing...
One Dark Window
The sequel to One Dark Window, it's nearly blasphemous but I like this one even more than the first! Gillig has such an incredible follow-up and expands upon the world in a way that really makes you fall even more in love with it!
Two Twisted Crowns
This was my first Octavia Butler book but it won't be my last! Set in a version of our world, it's a bit more dystopian than fantasy, but I really fell in love with the characters who are just trying to do their best in a really hard world!
Parable of the Sower
This was my second time rereading this book and there were so many amazing things that I missed the first time around! My love for the characters grew- especially Bartholomew and I can't wait for the second one to come out this fall!
The Knight and the Moth
I loved this book a lot more than I thought I would. If you're looking for a revenge fantasy book, with great world building and magic system, and a couple to die for, then definitely check it out!
Daughter of No Worlds
At 833 pages, this book is intimidating, but it is so worth the time! Dragons, court intrigue, political machinations, spy, bad-ass female characters and a ton of queer characters? 100000% worth the read!
The Priory of the Orange Tree
Contemporary Fiction
I read this book in two days, I was so interested in the storyline and the characters!
Mad Honey: A GMA Book Club Pick: A Novel
Romance
I heard that this was going to be developed into a movie and I knew I had to read it! I've read three Wilsner books now and this one is my favorite by far!
Cleat Cute: A Novel
If you're looking for a good, quick story that is SPICY, look no further! I devoured this book on a vacation and it was such a fun, quick read!
My Best Friend's Honeymoon
Okay. Yes, this book is tragic. Yes, it's also a love story. Yes, I've read it three times and I still sob each time. It's one of my all time favorite books and as summer starts to stretch before me, I know it's time to dive into my favorite Greek tr...
