El Plaza de Burgos
A reliable, casual spot in town when you need a quick, satisfying bite on the go. Perfect for a late-evening meal or an easy lunch break between excursions. Very delicious Pollo kebab.

The ultimate staple for picking up daily groceries, fresh Spanish fruits, and affordable local snacks during an extended stay in Burgos.

A spacious, leafy park located right next to the university grounds. It provides a peaceful, open green space for relaxing in the shade away from the bustling historic center.
El parral
A romantic, tree-lined park promenade along the river filled with lush greenery and stone monuments. It offers a beautiful, shaded path for a quiet morning stroll.
Paseo de la Isla
The lively heart of Burgos surrounded by bright, colorful buildings and outdoor cafes. It is the perfect central gathering place to start a walking tour or sit and people-watch.
Plaza Mayor
An absolute masterpiece of French Gothic architecture. Standing beneath its towering spires and intricate stone carving gives you an immediate sense of quiet wonder.
Burgos Cathedral
The best viewpoint in the city for sweeping, panoramic views of Burgos and the cathedral spires below. It is especially wonderful to visit during late afternoon as the sun lights up the red rooftops.
Mirador Del Castillo
A memorable spot along the promenade where I shared a great meal with my host family. Trying the Pizza alla Fioretina with spinach and a sunny-side-up egg was an absolute highlight!
