I went to Ireland for 9 days with my family at the end of March/early April. These are the things you absolutely must pack for your trip!
Have to bring a good rain jacket. Even on the sunny days it rained on us at least once. A rain jacket is better than an umbrella because of the wind.

Kids need rain jackets, non-negotiable and need to bring them every day, even if the sun is shining. The weather changes quickly.

You need waterproof shoes that can get dirty also. Think wet ground, beaches, farms, some mud.

It was colder than I expected so I was glad to have a hat. Especially on the rainy and windy days!
Beanies & Knit Hats
I wore base layers every day of our trip and was very glad to have them. I was still a bit cold some days so there is no way I would go to Ireland without them.

My kids have these base layers and they were also very glad to have them. Definitely recommend bringing them!

I always pack an external battery for my phone because of all the videos and pictures I take.
Power Banks in Power & cables(1000+)
I always bring a universal adapter so that I don’t have to worry about what kind of plugs are needed. Bring at least two so 2 people can charge at the same time.

Bring a small crossbody or belly bag. So much easier to have hands free when visiting farms and holding baby lambs! 🐑

These are my favorite kind of sunglasses. You still want to bring sunglasses for Ireland for when the sun comes out! It happens, I promise!

I would bring Dramamine for motion sickness. For the winding roads and for any potential boat tour you might do. The seas can be quite rough!

Wool socks for keeping feet toasty in your boots. Wool is also great because it doesn’t get stinky and you can rewear.
