We lived in the area for two years before checking this place out and what a huge mistake on my part. This nature center is fun for ALL ages.

This place is a blast, especially in the summer when the water is on for playing in the sand. We've never made it beyond the indoor area and kids play space outside, but I've been told they have beautiful trails to walk!!

Loved the huge indoor area, the outdoor area is smaller but there is a playground if you walk a little ways. The parking was a nightmare.
Carl W. Kroening Nature Center

Lookout Ridge is also amazing, but not free so I'm not including it on this list.

There's a great nature play area to the right of the library and they always have fun stuff to play with in the children's section!
