I loved the slow paced style. it’s was super interesting to read the inner monologue even through the uncomfortable and often disturbing thoughts that Holden had. it was such a great book and it’s one of my all time favorites.
The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger, Paperback
the best book i’ve ever read. truly changed my perspective on human connection and understanding. the writing is beautiful and all of his works are so touching.
South of the Border, West of the Sun by Haruki Murakami
disgustingly morbid and vile. incredibly difficult to put down. the writing is beautiful and the author doesn't fear grotesque topics but instead embraces them to bring a sense of awareness to the issue.
