I can't let a year go by without visiting downtown Detroit to see the tree lit up. There is always music going, heaters out to stay warm, and an ice skating rink to have some fun on the ice.

So fun to spend the evening downtown then walk through the little market they have in campus martius. Always great to shop at the local businesses and grab a little snack before walking over to see the lights on the tree.

The best time to visit Rochester is when they start lighting up the city. The vibes, the food, the shopping....everything is just as perfect as it could get. Definitely a great time with friends or family.
