I'm a big fan of Young Adult books and these are some of the few I had read so far. They vary depending on my mood; some are more emotional while others lighthearted, but they're amazing either way.
Really enjoyable and pleasant to read, haven't had such a good time ever since I came back from my reading slump.
I Hope This Doesn't Find You
I'm a sucker for fake dating tropes, especially if one of them is a famous person👀
This Time It's Real
Quite emotional but edifying, talks about growing up and how even if things change it's not supposed to be a scary thing.
The Start of Me and You #1
Continuation of the previous book: The Start of Me and You
The Map from Here to There #2
Time traveling/ time looping - as one of the concepts that I enjoy the most really manages to capture this story in a way that keeps you on your toes.
Opposite of Always
This book was so cute. It was the typical rivalry story. Two different families own competing bookstores. One is failing while one is thriving. The main character is doing all she can to save her family's store. She meets and falls in love with the g...
Last Chance Books
The whole book was unique. I've never read a romance novel that's timeline started and finished in one day. It kept me intrigued and I enjoyed every chapter...
Today Tonight Tomorrow
Such a sweet romance between two people who should have been rivals. I loved how this book showed such a realistic take on grief in young people and how it can affect family dynamics.
Check & Mate
A Million Junes is a detailed, intricate, beautiful, extraordinary testimony to perspective, the truth, and love.
Definitely feeling a little emotional and tender after reading it - this is truly such a good book
A Million Junes
I'm starting to believe that Ann Liang might be my new favorite author.
This was amazing -the characters, the setting, the plot? *chef's kiss*. Somehow it had both a moving story with really deep stuff about belonging but was also absolutely hilario...
Never Thought I'd End Up Here
This might be my new favorite mystery book. I loved every twist and secret. Pip and Ravi’s relationship is so precious to me.
I would recommend this to anyone who would like a quick mystery read!
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder #1
This book has a little of everything- diverse main characters with diverse culture and language representation, disability representation, mermaids, and subtle love stories.
Breathe and Count Back from Ten
Tegan's story will strike a chord with anyone who was an eldest daughter and watched their parents slipping away from each other, and always felt like they had to be smaller and more fun to be loved instead of themselves.
The Worst Perfect Moment
This is the perfect story for Kpop fans who once in their fangirl time dreamed of having their idol fall in love with them.
XOXO
I LOVED the geeky humour, the mystery, and the cute little bits in between!
I enjoyed the friendship and the growth of young love and the silly banter.
The Only Thing Worse Than Me Is You
This was a classic high school rom-com with all the usual chaos—fake dating, banter, and tension. I really enjoyed Audrey and Henry’s dynamic. Their back-and-forth banter was fun to read.
We're a Bad Idea, Right?
A super sweet YA hockey romance with all the cute tropes you’d expect! Reed was absolutely ‘darling’ and his family was just so fun to be around.
Rival Darling
This was SO cute and a perfect beach-read for summer. It was simultaneously childhood friends falling in love and enemies falling in love.
Sidney and Asher balanced each other out really well; their shared history added so much to the story.
