This hike has meadows, babbling brooks, and even wildflowers in the summer! This trail made me fall in love with hiking
Camp Summerland via Wonderland Trail, Washington
A shorter hike that still offers really stunning views of the lake and waterfall! It can get pretty crowded at the top during high season
Reflection Lake to Narada Falls via Lower Lakes Trail, Washington
This hike offers stunning views all the way up to the fire lookout. I recommend going on a clear day for the most rewarding views!
Mount Fremont Lookout Trail via Sourdough Ridge Trail, Washington
The Tolmie Peak Lookout is a great option if you’re looking for sweeping views and the opportunity to take a dip in a lake once you’re back.
Tolmie Peak Trail [CLOSED], Washington
Truly a must-visit hike, especially because it’s a loop so you can see new terrain the whole time. I’ll never get over the views of Myrtle Falls ✨
Skyline Trail Loop
Hikes closer to Seattle, WA
All these hikes are less than a 2 hour drive from Seattle!
If you love a waterfall and lake hike, this one has both! Seeing the waterfall is a much shorter hike, or keep going all the way to Serene Lake if you’re up for a challenge
Bridal Veil Falls and Lunch Rock via Lake Serene Trail, Washington
A lovely hike with waterfall views and a well-maintained trail! It’s listed at 4.7 miles but if you go all the way to the upper falls, I’d say it’s closer to 5.5 miles.

Wallace Falls via Woody Trail, Washington
This hike is super underrated! The initial descent is steep but you’re rewarded by view of the lake, and then it’s much more gradual. Plus, it’s a loop!

Being your Discover Pass for these hikes!
A Pacific Northwest staple, Mailbox Peak is known for its two routes: There’s a steep trail that is pretty eroded from all the visitors that enables you to quickly ascend to the top, and a newer, safer trail offering a steadier climb.
Mailbox Peak Trail Loop, Washington
Out and back trail with lovely views of all the evergreen trees! Discover Pass required
Little Si Trail, Washington
A lovely hike that’s relatively short but still rewarding! Plus, you don’t need a hiking pass to visit. Keep hiking up past the first ledge if you want even better views with less crowds
