This hotel is literal perfection. The views, the rooms, the pool, the food, the staff…everything.
Hotel Principe di Salina
A wonderful place to escape the busier cities and towns. Excellent for couples and we would recommend 2-3 days. The dog Bruno is an extra bonus.
Susafa
Really nice hotel in the upper portion of Taormina with views of the ocean. The pool is so relaxing, and you can walk everywhere.
Hotel Villa Belvedere
A beautiful, well-designed apartment in Modica. Be prepared for lots of steps!

Simply amazing. Michelin star chef who came back to cook in his hometown.
Accursio Ristorante
Delicious sea-side cafe. You must get the ricotta granita with candied capers.
Pa.Pe.Ro' "al Glicine"
Best stop for granita in Modica. I could eat tons of the melon and pistachio flavors.
Cafe Adamo
Modica restaurant that serves great food in HUGE portions.
Cappero Bistrot
What to Do
Our favorite stop. Absolutely insane and well-preserved Roman mosaics. The best ancient site I have been to.

For intricate tile-work lovers!
Norman Palace
Really nice public park; we took advantage of the clay tennis courts.
Villa Comunale di Taormina
Like a painting (literally, there is a painting of this in the DeYoung Museum in SF that we now recognize)
Teatro Antico di Taormina
The most stunning beach in the world with the warmest, clearest water.
Pollara beach on Salina
10/10 boat trip around Salina. We want to come back and try their excursions to other nearby islands.
Bio Cruising Eolie (Santa Marina Salina)
