My husband and I planned our wedding in about a month! (No I wasn’t pregnant lol) it was small and budget friendly! My biggest tips for pulling off a budget friendly and fast wedding: 1. Have a small guest list lol. The less people you have, the cheaper it will be. That can save you money on food and you might be able to secure a cheaper venue because you need less space. Our venue was a beautiful historic downtown building but we used one of their smaller spaces which was very affordable! 2. Don’t have a wedding party. This won’t work for everyone but it did for us. Takes things off the to-do list! And saves money! 3. Thrift what you can. 4. Use the catering that’s at the venue! This can potentially be cheaper than bringing another vendor in and it’s less of a headache. 5. Have the reception between meal times. You can get away with not doing a full meal lol. We still had plenty for people to eat but we did grazing tables instead of plate meals.
