I’ve lived in the heart of Asheville for 12 years. It’s definitely a foodie town with tone of excellent choices. Here is my list of most visit, can’t fail Asheville restaurants. These are the places I send my friends when they ask for a rec.

Soprana Rooftop Cucina
Everything on the menu is excellent. You can’t go wrong. Expect a wait so pack your patience and enjoy a cup of coffee and explore their on site garden while you wait. Order the bacon.
Sunny Point Cafe
A must visit. Stop here for a snack or dessert. Get the liquid truffle - it’s heaven in a cup. Their chocolate is amazing. Expect a long line if you go on Saturday night.
French Broad Chocolate
Go for the view, stay for the drinks and food. You can’t get away with ordering small plates and having the perfect date night.
Hemingway's Cuba
You can’t go wrong with these tacos. Not your typical Tex mex - so many options. The tacos are small so get a few and try different ones.
White Duck Taco Shop
Excellent Spanish food. Very unique. Date night restaurant.
Cúrate Bar de Tapas
My ultimate favorite. This is luxury dining at its best. Incredible view. It’s not open in the winter. This is anniversary level dining.
Sunset Terrace
My favorite donut shop. There are a few bar seats but it’s more of a to go place and then go drive on the parkway and eat the most amazing donuts. My favorite is the salted caramel.
