Hampshire, UK - the Perfect Place to Visit
I live in the next county over to Hampshire in the UK, but I am often hopping across the border as there are just so many places to visit. Here are some of my favourites.

Historic Houses & Places
I absolutely love Jane Austen's House in Chawton and have visited many times. You can read about my experience here.
The Vyne is not to be missed if you are in Hampshire. I have lost count of the times I have visited and I love it. Great restaurant too!
Beautiful cathedral and if you are a lover of Jane Austen, you can also visit her burial place.
I've visited this 'Great House' as mentioned in Jane Austen's correspondence, on a few occasions and loved exploring the house and garden.
If you love Downton Abbey, then you won't want to miss a visit to Highclere. It is just as amazing as you hope it will be.
This another beautiful National Trust House to visit, with relaxing riverside walks.
The house is beautiful, but even more so are the gardens and surrounding woodlands.
Take a trip back in time on this steam railway. I could almost image I was in an Agatha Christie novel!
This is not so much about the house, as it isn't open to the public, but it's worth it alone for the gardens, tearoom and events.

Hampshire Animal Attractions
I loved visiting the Hawk Conservancy Trust. If you go make sure you catch the flying displays, they are unmissable.
A great place to visit for all the family. Lots of farm animals to see and feed. Plus children's activity areas and fab cafe.
Wellington Country Park offers 350 acres of scenic parkland. Visitors can enjoy nature trails, a quaint farmyard, a miniature railway, and numerous play areas.
Hampshire Restaurants
Absolutely amazing Italian restaurant in Odiham, Hampshire. Super-friendly staff and fab food.
Amazing food, atmosphere and location.
Another great pub restaurant, great location and amazing atmosphere. Menu is fab!
