Most of the time your newborn will be contact napping, but here are some things that helped us navigate the wake windows up to 5 months. We still have these and my son still plays with most of these.

This helped sooo much during nighttime changes so he wouldn’t get shocked and uncomfortable from a cold wipe.
Chefhandy Baby Wipe Warmer, 3-Level Temp Control
Do not sleep on these wipes. They’re the most cost effective wipes I find as they don’t completely destroy my wallet and they are so good for his skin.
Huggies Wipes
The best wipes in my opinion, but they aren’t that wallet friendly. I do buy these when they go on sale.
