I have lived in Atlanta for about 10 years, I've seen restaurants open up and close down. I've experienced a lot of different vibes and this is my most curated list of restaurants that you should 100% try on your visit to the big A! These places all ...

One of my fave recs for modern European food. Their flatbread is a MUST try. They have a couple locations around ATL, but this one's my fave.
Ecco Atlanta, GA | Hours & Location | Midtown
Not only is the food amazing, but the owners are also amazing people. Great place for Southern/European (especially the seafood)
Lyla Lila
Kevin Grossman, the Exec Chef is a force to be reckoned with and this is undoubtedly the best Italian I've ever had.
La Tavola Trattoria | Authentic Italian Trattoria in Atlanta, GA
Spain inspired tapas bar (super rustic, really cool vibe). They have GREAT small plates, but if you're a wine connoisseur like myself, you better try the wine. Not to mention, they were also named "Best Organic Wine List in the World" recently.
Westside Ironworks - Barcelona Wine Bar
My absolute favorite restaurant on this list. I LOVE a good chicken kabob and no one does it better than Rumi's. They have a few location around ATL, but the colony square one is the best (dim lighting, perfect for a sexy date night). Added bonus is ...
Rumi’s Kitchen
Another Italian banger (and this one is super environmentally friendly). Their Cacio e pepe is to DIE for (not to add, the drinks are 🤯🤯🤯)
Restaurant | Forza Storico | Atlanta
Another Spanish inspired fave (Basque country). Their steak will take you straight to heaven. A little more on the pricier side, but if you're looking to splurge out and really get your money's worth...go here!
Cooks & Soldiers
This place feels like stepping right into Greece. The restaurant is also a tribute to the owner's late best friend and that just makes it sm more personal. Their Cavatelli alla genovese is an absolute one of a kind.
Kitty Dare
Best tex-mex around town. Also has a couple locations around here, but Krog Street is best one because you can walk around and see the tunnel. These tacos al carbon will have you wanting to move here if you already don't live here.
Superica, Krog Street
Can you tell I love Italian? The pizza is super fluffy and light. They bring Southern Italy realness with authentic pastas. Everyone I know loves this place
Grana
I cannot get over the Italian. This place is F1 inspired which makes it 10x better (I love racing). The nutella pizza really hits the sweet tooth. All the Foccacia pizzas are just so so so good.
YEPPA
Another Spanish hit, this time from the Iberian Peninsula. Their menu does change frequently, but I've never once been disappointed (tres leches is muy delicioso). Service is amazing as well. Portions are great for the price.
The Iberian Pig
This one is for my plant based people! La Semilla is a latin inspired vegan restaurant owned by one of the nicest couples I've ever met, they're dedicated to delivering the best vegan food in ATL. The crunch wrap is a fall in love at first bite momen...
La Semilla
Super authentic mediterranean, more on the Turkey side of things. I cannot describe in words how amazing the baklava is. The vibe is super chill as well. Please try the adana kebab, you'd be doing yourself a favor.
Cafe Agora - Mediterranean Restaurant in GA
Gonna wrap it up with the best contemporary southern in the area. Another one with a few locations, buckhead is the best. The pimento cheese sampler is like the best appetizer in the world. They have great fried chicken, my boyfriend loves their file...
