Your vendor recommendations are here! While we don’t require that you hire someone on our list, we really super ask that you do. Or at least ask us for additional options if these aren’t your vibe. We could write a whole article on why but you hired us because you trust us so we won’t bore you. At Mockingbird Lane, we recommend great quality vendors. It’s important to know what makes a good vendor – these are the qualities I must see in a vendor prior to recommending them. — Would rather work with a planner (i.e. they don’t give pushback and make things hard for you.) — Appropriate response times (24 hours on any given day, 2-3 days in the busy season. Florists will always take longer given the nature of their work.) — Properly staffed with back up plans — Insured — Proper contracts, clear services, and expectations — Arrives on time, if not early — Develops ideas — Goes the extra mile for each event — Delivers consistent and reliable product — Clean and professional in appearance — Personable and relational — Provides education to each client — Doesn’t manipulate an upsell — Does not drink on the job — Positive vibes only - We don’t work with gossips, downers or high-strung personalities. PLEASE TELL YOUR VENDORS THAT WE RECOMMENDED THEM TO YOU. Even if you find them on your own, it’s to your benefit that they know we are your partners. :)
