Anywhere you can get food, snacks, or drinks
Awesome food and service! This place was not super crowded on a Saturday night and we got served right away.
Cunningham's Pub and Grill Blackstone
Cute little coffee shop that has opened nee locations in the Omaha area. You can sit down and enjoy a light breakfast/brunch, or you can grab a coffee to go!
Stories Coffee Company
Outdoor ice cream place in Elkhorn. They have many different flavors and types of ice cream. They also show movies occasionally behind the building and have great burgers.
Dairy Chef
Big and fun shakes… they call them over the top for a reason. We did not try the pizza when we went but have heard great things
Grace Pizza and Shakes Papillion
Okay, this place is a little outside of Omaha, however it is newly opened and great! They have an outdoor seating area with firepit areas, lawn games, and outdoor/indoor pickleball courts. There is also an indoor area for eating. The drinks are great...
Ashland Brewing Company
So yummy. Great service and food. I like country potatoes and french toast best. My boyfriend got the strawberry french toast and loved it
First Watch
A little hidden restaurant in the old market. Went there for a birthday and enjoyed it! The nachos and enchiladas were yummy.
Trini's
A really nice breakfast or brunch place. I got the flatbread with eggs and it was yummy. They also have a coffee bar.
Good Evans
A great restaurant. They have personal size pizzas and they were yummy! They also have a cool taproom. You get a card and the card allows you to pour from tap yourself. I tried many different drinks. We didn’t get to sit outside by the firepit but it...
Smokin' Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and Taproom
Activities
My boyfriend and I have been trying to do more activities around Omaha and this is what we have tried
My best description is a topgolf style restaurant/place but the activity is pickleball. You pay by the hr to play. Good food and drinks and you can bring your own paddles to play.
Smash Park La Vista
Yes, everyone goes here, yes it’s always decently busy… but it’s only open for a couple months each year. There’s food, activities and it gives great views to just walk around. Getting Witches Brew cider and apple cider donuts are always a must! You ...
Vala's Pumpkin Patch & Apple Orchard
This is a pretty popular place in Omaha and one of the best zoos. They have just about everything and the food is good. My favorite is their ice cream and the aquarium! The skyfari is a must do as well. Great for kids and so many things to do!
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium
Amazing views and something free to do in Omaha. You can walk around for a while and still not see everything. They also have a little café.
Joslyn Art Museum
Bars
These don’t include restaurants that serve drinks… or maybe I just didn’t try the food
In the Blackstone district. I am a huge mule fan and they can make them any way you like. The Scooby drink was also very tasty! Nice bartender and you can either sit inside or outside.
Little Ricky's Rooftop Bar
This is a bar and grill restaurant, however we did not sit down to eat. They have a variety of drafts on tap and a long list of cocktails. I tried a mule and a margarita, and we got fried pickles as an app.
