Free
Such a great free activity. The boardwalk is awesome. Go bird watching or even look for seals. A gorgeous view of Mt. Rainier on a clear day too!
Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge
Go to the beach, or go for a walk! Plenty of restaurants to stop in at and grab a bite to eat while you’re down here.
Alki Beach Park
While you’re in the city center, stop by this amazing playground. It’s really meant for bigger kids but there is a toddler structure. It’s fun to just walk through here on your way to the children’s museum or Pacific Science Center.
Artists At Play
Park in the upper lot to get to the playground. Park in the lower lot to get to the walkway on the water. There are swings down below too. There’s also a pool here and one of the WA State trolls ;)
Lincoln Park
Take the kids swimming or just go for a walk!
Seward Park
An awesome hidden gem in the east side. It’s free admission and there are even farm animals!

A cute little market in the city center for Christmas. The lights in evening are great and there are a few kid friendly activities inside. Although this is mainly for the adults ;)

Tulips in the spring, Sunflowers in the summer, & pumpkins in the fall. This place has an incredible amount of activities to keep your kids entertained all day!
Maris Farms
A fall tradition in our house! This is the best place to go pick pumpkins. Across the street is their farm yard too where they have activities for kids of all ages.
Carpinito Bros Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze
The main location for Carpinito Bros. They have an awesome Christmas tree selection in the winter with a light display as well!

This is a bit north of Seattle but we love coming here in the spring. It’s fun to let the kids run through the tulip fields!
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival: Washington's Largest Tulip Gardens
A Christmas tradition in our family. My son is absolutely mesmerized by the lights every single year. It’s huge and so many different light displays to experience.
Enchant Christmas at T Mobile Park
Year-Round
A fun outing for a rainy day. The new building across the street is included in your day ticket as well. The big glass viewing area is incredible!
Seattle Aquarium
The gorilla exhibit is the absolute best! A fun day trip with (or without) your kids.
Woodland Park Zoo
This place has endless activities for kids of all ages. The butterfly room is amazing and so is the room of mirrors. They have a toddler play area as well that is restricted to younger kids only!
Pacific Science Center
If your kids like planes this is a must-do. The atrium with planes from different eras hanging from the ceiling is a “woaaaah” moment for any plane obsessed kid. Walk across the bridge across the steet and you can actually walk through all of Boeings...
The Museum of Flight
Let your kiddos loose! This is a small, quaint children’s museum in Seattle center but my son loves coming here. There’s a train and bus room, a construction room and even a play structure!

Another zoo option! It’s a nice change of pace from Woodland Park, plus they have an aquarium.
