Gypsy Haven in Elgin is another fun shop. They have all sorts of fun events, tarot readings, etc. Also a big selection of crystals, candles and the like!

This place is nostalgia heaven for 80s and 90s babies. (It's also attached to the Brewed!) I've found some really cool stuff here, like Pee Wee Herman trading cards 😂

I know a movie theater isn't exactly strange or unusual but this one does a lot of strange and unusual events and screenings. Plus it's gorgeous and a Chicago icon.

There needs to be more places like The Final Girl Bar in Kenosha. This place is so fun and the vibe is awesome. I wish this was closer to me!
