Started with the cheapest film I could find and it looked like I wrapped my windows in cling wrap. These are the ones that stayed smooth, looked clean, and actually blocked the view from outside without turning my apartment into a dungeon.

Bathroom privacy was my first panic purchase. Nobody tells you that the frosted films vary wildly. Some look like wax paper, others look like expensive spa glass. These landed on the spa side.

Wanted that mirrored look where I can see out but the world can't see in. Learned the hard way that most one-way films only work when it's brighter outside than inside. These are the ones that didn't disappoint.

Some windows are weird shapes or too textured for film. Others I just didn't want to deal with applying anything to. These alternatives solved the problem without touching the glass at all.

My first attempt looked like a screen protector applied by a toddler. Bubbles everywhere, crooked edges, fingerprints trapped under the film. These tools turned the second attempt into something I wasn't embarrassed about.

Not every window is a standard rectangle in a normal room. Skylights, arched windows, glass doors on shower stalls. These handled the weird spots that regular solutions couldn't.
