I showed up in October thinking my regular jacket would cut it. By noon I was ducking into a 7-Eleven just to thaw my hands. These kept me functional.

The exhibits hit differently when you actually know the backstory. I read two of these on the plane and suddenly every display made me stop and think instead of just skim.

My phone died at 2pm on my first day because I was using it for maps, translations, and photos nonstop. Never again.

The museum cafe is fine, but you're in Oslo. I made the mistake of not planning lunch and ended up hangry in front of a Nobel exhibit about famine, which felt ironic.

One museum does not fill an Oslo trip. I had two free afternoons and almost wasted them scrolling my phone in the hotel. These were worth leaving the lobby for.

Something about the Peace Center made me want to sit down and actually write about what I'd seen. I hadn't journaled in years, but the exhibits shook something loose.

The museum shop is small but solid. I also found a few things around Oslo that reminded me of the visit without being tacky fridge magnets.
