The Liquitex Basics collection is a really nice, beginner friendly paint collection. I live by the Liquitex Basics white paint because it is actually opaque and not translucent (like a lot of other brands of white paint).

I swear by this varnish. I've used this specific brand since the beginning of my art journey and I don't just use it for sealing paintings. I've sealed clay and wood pieces with this varnish as well. It's a staple in my supply room & my creative pantry.
