Skin Prep
If the base is not right nothing else matters. These are the products I use when my skin is irritated textured or breaking out and I still want it to look calm and smooth.
This is my spot treatment when I feel something forming under the skin. I do not drown my face in it just tiny dots where needed. It helps calm the breakout faster and does not burn if you use it correctly.
Salicylic Acid 2% Exfoliating Blemish Solution
This is that light gel moisturizer that feels like nothing but still hydrates. Perfect under makeup because it does not pill and does not make me oily two hours later.
Omega Water Cream Moisturizer
When my skin barrier is acting dramatic this saves me. I use a small amount so it does not feel heavy. Good for winter or when acne treatments dry you out.
First Aid Beauty Cream
I know it is not the cheapest but this one does not break me out and it doubles as a primer. Clear texture no white cast no weird smell.
Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Invisible Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA +++
This one is for those painful under the skin breakouts. I use it only on the spot and it helps flatten it faster without destroying the rest of my face.
Breakout Corrector
Super lightweight and sinks in fast. I use this when my skin is more oily but still needs hydration. It layers really nicely under foundation.
Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturizer
Foundations That DO NOT Suffocate My Pores
I used to think full coverage equals better but honestly lighter breathable formulas look better on textured acne skin. These sit nicely and do not cling to dry patches.
This is actually underrated. Medium coverage but looks like skin. I can build it on red spots without it turning cakey.
Best Skin Ever 16 Hour Natural Finish Liquid Foundation
On days when my skin is going through it I prefer this over heavy foundation. It evens everything out but still lets my skin breathe.
Eaze Drop Lightweight Blurring Skin Tint
Very thin formula so I use a small amount. It blends fast and does not sit weird on active breakouts.
Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation
This is for covering angry spots. I tap it only where I need it and it actually stays. I do not use it under my whole face because less is more with acne skin.
Soft Matte Complete Concealer
This one is a little more expensive but it lasts forever and looks very natural. It is thin but buildable so I can customize coverage depending on how my skin looks that day.
Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation
I use the mini because I do not need a huge amount. It covers redness really well but I only tap it where needed so it does not look heavy.
Mini Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer
Keep It Light Keep It Clean
Powder and primer can ruin everything if they are too heavy. These feel light and do not make me break out.
Good if you get oily around the nose and forehead. It smooths but does not feel like plastic on the skin.
Pore Eclipse Mattifying + Blurring Makeup Primer
I use the tiniest amount just on oily areas. Press it in do not bake for ten years and it looks soft not dry.
Mini Translucent Loose Setting Powder - Laura Mercier
I SWEAR ON THIS! I use this before makeup sometimes when my skin looks red. It helps calm it down and I feel safer putting makeup on top.
SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray with Hypochlorous Acid
A good brush matters more than people think. Dirty brushes cause breakouts so I wash mine every week and it changed everything.
Foundation Brushes & Face Brushes
I lightly mist this at the end just to melt everything together. It helps makeup sit better on textured areas without making me oily.
Airbrush Flawless Mini Setting Spray Duo: Travel Gift Set
This is softer than traditional loose powders. It blurs a little but still looks like skin. I use a fluffy brush and keep it only on my T zone.
