Sexy speakeasy bar with fantastic drinks and a curated menu of light snacks. Indulge in some oysters.
High Violet
My favorite pizza spot in Buffalo. Mondays are half price on bottles of wine. No tipping because the staff are paid a living wage!

The food here is so good! Cozy old school diner vibe, but make it fancy! I crave the mussels with a glass of Sauv Blanc.
The Place - Elmwood Village, Buffalo, NY
Authentic Indian food (I spent 6 months traveling around India). Paneer tikka masala is my go to. Lovely staff. I love this spot.
Parivaar Pub
A go to for family meetups big or small. Good beer (with a serve yourself tap wall!), great food, nice cocktails. So much natural light with those big windows. Great patio in the summer.
The Ridge West Seneca
My go to Asian place. A hole in the wall with affordable, tasty fare — the way it should be with Asian food! My picks are usually the Panang Curry and Mango Sticky Rice.
Street Asian Food
Great burgers, beer, and cocktails. Lovely patio in good weather right on Allen Street. Excellent people watching.
Allen Burger Venture
A place to catch up with a friend or bring your laptop and headphones. Homemade bread, excellent coffee drinks, and a yummy breakfast menu.
Five Points Bakery
Good for sushi in the summer and ramen in the winter. Wine and sushi specials on Mondays. ;)
SATO
I always bring out of towners here for lunch. They have an extensive menu and EVERYTHING IS ACTUALLY GOOD. My faves are the chicken pesto sandwich and the turkey cranberry sandwich. Extensive beer list and full bar.
