We visited Corfu on a Mediterranean cruise from Athens to Barcelona after our daughter’s wedding in Santorini. We cruised with Princess. Our favorite stop was to Corfu. Honestly, we weren’t expecting much after a very disappointing stop in Montenegro (that’s another story) but, oh were we pleasantly surprised. Corfu is famous for its unique multi-cultural heritage, blending Venetian, French, and British influences into its architecture and culture, a UNESCO World Heritage Site Old Town, stunning natural beauty with lush landscapes and pristine beaches. My daughter and I bought bright pink and hot yellow small leather purses that we use constantly. Shopping in Corfu was stressful free and the people were gracious and lovely. I will return to beautiful Corfu one day.
