This coffee shop is located in a row of old-fashioned shops on Jalan Braga. Unlike the previous legendary coffee shop which only offered coffee powder, Kopi Toko Djawa sells various kinds of contemporary coffee.
Before becoming a coffee shop in 2017, this shop was one of the most popular bookstores in Bandung, having been established since 1955.
After the bookstore closed, the owner turned it into a contemporary coffee shop while still maintaining the old-time feel.
The appearance has barely changed. With wide glass windows at the front, it shows the interior of the cafe clearly.
It's best to sit on the edge of the window while watching the people passing by on Jalan Braga.
The mainstay menu here is cloud iced coffee which is perfect when enjoyed with classic chocolate donuts.
