Exmouth is so low key and relaxing. After a day in the water you just want to chill at night - have a good sleep and do it all again.
This is the best place to get maps and local information. The Aquarium is also worth a visit, especially if you have had enough sun or it's a bit too windy or wet for the beach.

Eat out or Eat in - there are lots of options. There are two IGA's in town so you can stock up with provisions if you are camping or planning a BBQ at your accomodation.
We had a seafood dinner for two at sunset and it was fantastic. The food was excellent and the views = AMAZING! Just around the corner is a really fun fish and chips bistro - it's not fancy (plastic chairs etc.) but the food and the cold beer is nice...

A family friendly outdoor beer garden. Great pizzas! Lots of things for the kids to do and the live music suits the laidback vibe perfectly. If you are not staying near by - you'll need to drive.

How we got to where we were going
A flight and a hire car is all you need to get around Exmouth. If you like sailing you will be trilled with the options available.
It's around 2 hours to fly from Perth to Exmouth. I love heading up north in the winter.

A hire car is a must in Exmouth. We picked our car up at the airport. I don't even think they have a taxi service let alone Uber! AVIS is great.

You don't need to pack too much for Exmouth - but you do need to pack for hot days and cool nights - especially if you are on the water. Don't forget your rashy and sunscreen.
