I haven’t watched the show/movie but I can say this is a greattttt story. Don’t remember if this is YA or Adult but this does great of breaking down the reality behind the mental state of teenagers. Very good read if you’re into murder mysteries!

My most recent read as of Feb 2026, SOOO GOOD. I think everyone should read this book, it goes deep into racial injustices legally and in the school systems while also being funny, though how funny can you be while solving your best friend’s murder?
The Black Queen by Jumata Emill
The title does NOT prepare you for when it comes in the end!! Soo many tears and such a beautiful story. Thinking about rereading for love month. One of my Top 3 in life
They Both Die at the End (Series 1)
I severely enjoyed this. Its a love story but definitely not what you’d expect. Its very real and is gut wrenching if you’re an empath (like me lol)
