Lugging dumbbells to the park felt ridiculous, and bodyweight alone wasn't cutting it. These bands gave me the tension I needed without looking like I was moving apartments every morning.

Finding something to do pull-ups on outside was my biggest obstacle. I tried tree branches and playground bars before landing on gear that actually travels well.

January almost sent me crawling back to the gym. Showed up to the park shivering in a cotton hoodie exactly once before figuring out the layering thing.

Working out in July sun without shade nearly gave me heatstroke twice. Learned fast that outdoor training in summer requires actual planning, not just a water bottle.

Needed something heavier than bands but lighter than hauling a barbell to the park. Kettlebells turned out to be the sweet spot between portability and serious resistance.

Did burpees on wet grass exactly once and slid face-first into the mud. After that I invested in something between me and the ground.

Ran out of water during a summer circuit workout and had to cut it short. Now I over-prepare on hydration and it's never been a problem since.

Nothing kills a park workout faster than dead headphones or tangled wires catching on everything. Took three pairs to find ones that survive sweat and wind.

Wanted to track my outdoor workouts the same way the gym machines tracked everything for me. Turns out a decent watch does it better than any treadmill screen ever did.

Carried kettlebells, bands, a mat, and a water bottle in separate bags for two weeks before realizing I needed a system. These solved the ‘I look like I’m moving out' problem.
