I thought Bellagio would be the only village worth visiting and almost didn't explore further. That would have been the biggest mistake of my trip — these tiny lakeside towns hit differently when you wander in without expectations.










I'm not even a garden person and these places wrecked me. I took over 400 photos in two days and regret exactly zero of them — each garden felt like walking into a different century.




The ferries aren't just transportation — they're some of the best sightseeing you'll do. I accidentally took the slow ferry once instead of the fast one and it turned into the highlight of that entire day.







I didn't come to Como planning to hike, but every local I talked to said the same thing — you haven't really seen the lake until you've seen it from above. They were aggressively correct.













I ate at some places where I genuinely couldn't decide whether to look at my plate or out the window. The food around Como is simpler than you'd expect — fresh fish, handmade pasta, good wine — and the settings do most of the heavy lifting.
