The best of the year, could not put down these books
Such a great series! Enemies to lovers, touch her and die, magic, fae. I loved this series so much and can’t wait for the next book to release
The Ever Seas Series by L.J. Andrews
I read all three books this year. I really enjoy Violet as a character and the relationship development
The Empyrean — Rebecca Yarros | #1 NYT Bestselling Author
If you need a series after ACOTAR that has multiple romances, twists and turns, and great spice this is for you!
The Broken Kingdoms Series
My first vampire romantasy. I loved it sooooo much! Don’t skip out on the novellas. They have such beautiful stories. Trials, character development, and more!
Crowns of Nyaxia Series by Carissa Broadbent
I could not put this one down! One of my 5 star reads of the year. Such great world building without abandoning the storytelling. I highly recommend this book!
Quicksilver (Fae & Alchemy, 1) by Callie Hart
One of the best true fantasy books I have read this year. A slow burn with low spice. Incredible world building and magic system
Anathema (The Eating Woods) eBook by Lake & Belfield
This is the first book in the Ever King Series. Erik Bloodsinger is one of my all time favorite characters. This is very much a touch her and die male main character. Highly recommend for fans of ACOTAR
The Ever King (The Ever Seas Book 1) eBook
Romantasy and Dark Romantasy
Perfect for those who like spicy romantasy. You may want to check the trigger warnings on some of these before reading.
Dark and graphic why choose book. Spin off of the Neverland story. These were pretty short and easy to read, I finished each in an afternoon
Vicious Lost Boys Series by Nikki St. Crowe
A romantic fantasy. Similar vibes to ACOTAR. I really enjoyed the first book, the next books were a little hard to follow for me but still good.
The Bargainer Series by Laura Thalassa
I really enjoyed this book. I love LJ Andrews. The only reason it is not in the top is because I am waiting for more of the story to develop over the next book as well.
Broken Souls and Bones (Stonegate, #1) by L.J. Andrews
Classics and Non-fiction
I am trying to read more classic books, and non-fiction to round out my reading challenge
I read Frankenstein for the first time in October. It was a very hard read, but I am glad that I read it.
Frankenstein
I love the Obitchuary podcast! I listed to this as an audio book, and it felt just like an extended podcast episode. I highly recommend if you are into true crime and hot girl science
Obitchuary: The Big Hot Book of Death
I listened to this as an audio book. It was very interesteresting. Please take a look at the content warnings first.
