This is a cute series with some minor spicy scenes throughout the series
The Ex Hex (The Ex Hex, #1) by Erin Sterling
While it is fiction there is some details that are pulled from history. I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
The First Witch of Boston: A Novel eBook
A little bit fantasy, a little bit romance, a little bit of history and some fiction. I loved this story line because it demonstrated what ends you’ll go to to find your happiness and what happens when you go about it the wrong way.
A Secret History of Witches: A Novel
I could not put this book down. The plot was great and then the twist! I did not see that coming. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Poison, deceit, sleep walking and the truth.
The Cornish Widow by Jacqueline Beard
If you’re thinking of suicide or ever thought of it, give this a read.
The Suicide Index: Putting My Father's Death in Order by Joan Wickersham
A little bit of history and an education in flowers
The Secrets of Flowers by Sally Page
A bit autobiographical of my all time favourite painter Vincent Van Gogh! The sickness that he suffered, the love he wanted in return, the pain he went through it’s similar to what someone’s mental health sufferings are going through in today’s day a...
Vincent's Women: Untold Loves of Van Gogh
Really enjoyed reading this one about first love and the things that can happen along the way in life.
The Home for Unwanted Girls by Joanna Goodman
This was a cute fun read, little collection of stories that sort of followed a theme: murder! Ha!

A good suspenseful read that kept me guessing who the guilty party might turn out to be.
Little Tangled Webs (Georgiana Germaine #5) by Cheryl Bradshaw
Exploration. Love. Death. A touch of arcane magic.
The Naturalist Society by Carrie Vaughn
In the end there’s a happy ending but not before going through some terribly horrific hard times.
Charles B. Fancher | Author Red Clay
This book reminded me a bit of a similar story from another author, Anne Rice and Lasher. The family tree, a bit of magic and mystery. I enjoyed it!

Ghosts. Spirits, and a love story.
The Kitchen Mistress by Kathleen Shoop
A cute story about friendship, love, faith and magic!
First Witches Club: A Novel - Yates, Maisey
Grimm but magical and spiritual with a twist on your typical fairy tale stories!
Grimm Curiosities by Sharon Lynn Fisher
A new take on a vampire character I’ve never read about until now. Some PG romance scenes, a protective brother and a motherly figure that wants to help her. Perfect combo of death, presumptions and love.
Tea & Alchemy - Sharon Lynn Fisher - Amazon.com
I really enjoyed this story. I like how it spanned over centuries with a touch of romance and some history.
The Forgotten Witch - Jessica Dodge - Amazon.com
I find all stories about witches to be fascinating but this story in particular kept me reeled in with the flip flop of past to present explanations.
I could see this being made into a movie.
The Book of Witching by C.J. Cooke | Goodreads
I enjoyed reading this story and thought it was a great read to slide into Pride month. It’s awful to think that even in today’s day and age some people can’t fully be themselves for many different reasons. Looking forward to reading more in this ser...
The Case of the Missing Maid (Harriet Morrow)
I love stories involving voodoo, magic and blood curses especially when they are set in New Orleans. I just really love all that folklore and ghost stories.
Spicy Little Curses (Scared Sexy Collection, #3) - Goodreads
I could see this one turning into a good suspense/thriller type movie. I had suspicions about the lover and it turns out my gut was right. Really enjoyed this read.
The New Couple in 5B by Lisa Unger | Goodreads
This story may be fictional but the events are believable. The characters are lifelike. It makes you want to stand up and fight for equality. It makes you want to fight racism. It makes you want to hold firm to your beliefs and not be easily swayed b...
The Undertaker's Assistant: Post-Civil War Novel
I love this rewrite of a classic. It had magic. Sisterhood. Maybe a bit of witchery and most definitely some adventures.
Stepsister by Jennifer Donnelly - 9781338268461
This novel was not exactly what I pictured when I read the words in the title Southern Historical Fiction. It turned out to be much more; secrecy , friendship and betrayal. Some things are just worth taking to the grave.
The Seamstress of New Orleans by Diane C. McPhail | Goodreads
Cute little murder mystery to keep you guessing who dun it? All I can picture is “Bridgerton” attire for the lords and ladies along with a similar setting. Very enjoyable start to the series
A Lady's Guide to Etiquette and Murder by Dianne Freeman
Like the title says, family healing is so good when everyone gets on board with it instead of staying stuck in the generational toxic cycle we so often see and experience in this day and age. Fiction or not there’s something to learn from this story
Miss Pearly's Girls: A Captivating Tale of Family Healing - Goodreads
Who doesn’t love a good Sherlock Holmes mystery adventure. As a romantic at heart I was hoping for a love story but then that would be a whole other type of story. This was a little gory if you let your imagination run wild but overall it was a good ...
The Devil's Grin: Victorian Gothic Thriller
I can’t say that I totally loved this story. It was a bit slow to start. Lots of descriptive details. In the end the takeaway I’m left with is that money equals power.
The Rules of Fortune: A Novel
I really liked this story. It was set in old New York and talked about old nursing methods used back in the day. It was a good whodunnit story with a bit of a love story.
