A big park in the middle of San Diego with museums, gardens, walking paths, theaters, and the San Diego Zoo. It’s a great place to explore art, history, and nature all in one.
Balboa Park
The San Diego Zoo, inside Balboa Park, is one of the most famous zoos in the world with hundreds of animals. The Safari Park, about 30 minutes north in Escondido, lets you see animals in large, open spaces like a safari.
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
